  • Students at Rye High School and Middle School returned to their schools at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday after they had been evacuated earlier in the morning when the district received a bomb threat.
  • A Shell station at the corner of Ridge Street and Bowman Avenue was the setting Tuesday for a cene from the movie "Freeheld,'' starring Steve Carell, Julianne Moore and Ellen Page.
  • A former neighbor of a 54-year-old plumber -- brutally stabbed to death in 2011 -- was indicted Thursday in connection with the home-invasion murder.
