A 7:42 a.m. accident on westbound I-287 at the I-95 interchange led to backups to Midland Avenue in Rye. 

There was stop-and-go traffic on southbound Route 9A at Route 117 (Bedford Road) in Mount Pleasant after a 7:30 a.m. accident.
