WWII Sergeant, Rye Carpenter, Esposito Dies at 88

RYE, N.Y. - Ralph Esposito, a veteran and former carpenter of Rye, died on Oct. 14 at the age of 88.

Esposito, who served as an Army sergeant during World War II, was born on Apr. 10, 1923 to John and Clementina Esposito. He went on to become a carpenter and work for East Coast Wholesalers for over 30 years.

Esposito is survived by his sons Ronald Esposito with wife Shauna and Phil Esposito, his siblings Nonal Garofalo and John Esposito and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Mamaroneck. The funeral mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Gregory the Great Church, with interment to follow at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
