Westchester Resident Wins 'Best Actor' Award For New Film, 'By Jingo'

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers resident Ryan Caraway was awarded 'Best Actor' by the Nordic International Film Festival's grand jury on Sunday, Nov. 1 for his role in "By Jingo," a story about a young laborer trying to rebuild his life after Hurricane Sandy.

Caraway also directed the film which debuted to a sold-out crowd at New York's Scandinavia House. (Go here for previous Daily Voice story.)

"I was just happy to finally bring the film back to a hometown crowd," said Caraway who was beyond thrilled with his win.
