Michael Cassidy, chief executive officer of the international digital advertising company Undertone, was recently elected to the board.
“Friends of Karen is an incredibly important and effective organization that helps sick children and their families when they need it most,” Cassidy said in a press release.
“Their focus on families in the Tri-State area really appealed to me.”
“I am excited to work with the very talented staff and board members who have such passion and dedication to this cause.”
Cassidy and his wife, Jennifer, have supported Friends of Karen for more than 10 years.
“Mike is joining at a time when Friends of Karen is making serious strategic decisions about our future,” Pamela Hervey, president of the charity’s board of directors, said in a press release.
“His understanding of the digital world as well as how a business grows will complement the skills already represented on the board.”
