RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Nature Center will host a busy lineup of fall activities through early November. Here's a look at some:

The Nature Center's "Great Leaf Hunt" is underway through Nov. 9. Participants of all ages are asked to bring the largest leaf they can find to the Nature Center. The winning leaf will be put on display.

On Tuesday the Nature Center will host a scavenger hunt from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. that will have children roaming the RNC grounds while learning about various items along the way. Registration is recommended but not required. Click here to register. Visit the RNC website to register.

Ghost Stories will be told by the RNC campfire on Friday at 6 p.m. Marshmallows will be provided. Members can attend free and non-member admission is $10. Call (914) 967-5150 to reserve a spot.

The family hiking club will also be meeting on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. The hike is free for members and $10 per family for non-members.
