"My name is Vinicius Debarros, former AMC film crew at the Port Chester location. I would like to share my experience of working there with you.

"Assault against AMC employees is nothing new. Just last July, Supervisor (name deleted) was smacked across the face by a teenager. I have even witnessed guests spit in the face of manager (name deleted) and proceed to throw a milkshake at her.

"I noticed in your article a report of people trespassing on the stairwell connected to the theater. The first week I started. . . I was invited by my fellow film crew employees to go up to the rooftop to smoke pot with them after our shifts.

"Not only was (one) manager aware of this, (the manager) joined us! This became a routine every Friday and Saturday. (A manager) made it clear to us that the stairwell is not 'officially' AMC property. However, the only way to gain entry into the stairwell is through emergency exits from within the theater.

"(A manager) would even allow us to bring guests who were not AMC employees with us and would unlock the gate for us so we wouldn't have to climb over. While aware of our get togethers on the staircase, (he/she) warned us not to ever get caught by our General Manager. . . .

"Everybody counted down the hours (until the general manager) left and when it was confirmed she was going, we the film crew could do whatever we wanted. . . .

"I honestly just couldn't believe that I was working for a billion dollar company like AMC and all this insanity was going on in the theater. I wish I could paint a better picture, but what goes on in that theater is unbelievable. . . .

"I know many people who were in my position have reached out to home office and were dismissed by them and all. . . that goes on just gets swept under the rug."
