'Law & Order: SVU' Films Scenes In Rye

RYE, N.Y. -- The cast and crews filmed scenes for the NBC-TV show "Law & Order: SVU" in Rye on Monday.

Filming took place in the central business district at Elm Place and Purchase Street. Crews also filmed several scenes at the Coveleigh Club on Stuyvesant Avenue.

Production vehicles were staged at the car park between Elm Place and Locust Avenue, as well as at Playland.

Filming was scheduled to take place between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday, according to an alert sent out on the town's Nixle alert system.
