RYE, N.Y. -- Kristina Sheth has had to find more activities for her children to do as the summer winds down and the new school year approaches."We've been coming to the library a lot," said Sheth.Sheth's three children have spent the summer doing a variety of activities, including a two-week summer camp at the Rye Rec. Her oldest son took a photography course at the Rye Arts Center. They even spent a month in Sweden visiting relatives.
It's been a busy summer for the three children, and there are still more than two weeks before schools reopen on Sept. 7. With most summer programs having wrapped up, Sheth sees it as an ideal time to take a family trip to Pennsylvania. The Sheth children didn't spend as much time at home in Rye this summer, but next year plans to do more nearby activities."They will probably do more summer camps next year," said Sheth.
