The celebration will include games and raffles, prizes, refreshments, Dog + Cat Meet & Greet, plaque dedications, facility tours and sponsorship opportunities.

Pet Rescue will also kick off a Pennies for Paws campaign. All are invited to bring their spare change to the event to help change more pets' lives.

Pet Rescue's new "petquarters" has allowed the group to help many more animals in need. Some of the past year's accomplishments include an enlarged spay/neuter clinic that operates four days a week, weekly meet-and-greets, a new Trap-Neuter-Release recovery room for cats, training and enrichment programs for dogs.

Pet Rescue's goal for Phase 2 is to relocate the cats from a rented space in New Rochelle to Harrison. This will require additional fundraising to finance renovations to the garage on the property.
