The clubs serve more than 600 area seniors and offer many different programs and social activities such as Bingo, card games, knitting and crafts classes. The seniors say they really like to be there.
On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the Christmas Party in Downtown Harrison Senior Center was the most beautiful place in the world, according to organizers, "where you could see a lot of happy faces. It was really amazing. Such a delicious food, desserts, Christmas cookies, live music and great people."
The director of the Senior Center, Tom and his wonderful team: Angela, Anthony, Jinny, Chris, Joe, Ron did an excellent job for making each and everyone happy.
Before lunch, Harrison Mayor Ron Belmont came to say hello and wished everyone a very happy Christmas.
Seniors had a wonderful time dancing, singing, applauding, laughing and enjoying their lives.
"We're so happy to be here and we thank Tom for making everything so perfect for us. It was a nice holiday party. We love you, Tom.” said Grace and Meriel Angarano, joined by Patti Dibliccari.
At the end of the party, Santa Claus came to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
We know, nobody will forget this magic day and they will always remember, because you can't forget a memorable day, organizers said.
