Dias and Brown jumped at the idea to do this selfless act in light of the fact that it is often not an option for cancer patients to keep their hair while in treatment.

Dias, Brown, family and friends plan to walk in Jeffrey's memory at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night Walk, which funds treatments to save lives, on Saturday, Nov. 1. Their team, Jeffrey Lived Loved Laughed, is in its second year of participating in the walk.

The team has raised more than 4,200 for the cause, and hopes to surpass its 10K goal. To donate, visit http://pages.lightthenight.org/ctwhv/Wstchstr14/jeffreylivedlovedlaughed.
