VALHALLA, N.Y. -- The burger, America's quintessential comfort food, can be dressed up (think Kobe beef, an expensive cheese, a housemade bun) or down (as in simple ketchup, maybe a pickle). Anyway you flip it, it's a winner.

You've picked five you love in Westchester county, all of which are now vying for a spot on the DVlicious roster for best of the best.

Read on for all the juicy details. Each finalist is being profiled this week with the victorious prized patty announced at the end of the month.

Voting ends July 27; go here to chime in.

Valhalla Crossing , 2 Cleveland St., Valhalla, (914) 682-4076
