But the best present for dads, according to founder of the Fatherhood Training Center, Stevan Lynn, "is time."

Activities include making dad his favorite homemade breakfast, taking him to the park for a picnic, creating a family photo album or having dad tell stories about the family's history.

"Father's Day is a day of pride and reflection on the most passionate and rewarding experience anyone can have: raising beautiful children and knowing that my sons love me greatly," Mark Stevens said. Even though they are no longer 'little kids,' they still need my advice, guidance and love. Serving as their compass -- is a joy."

Frank Santorelli, owner of Pizzeria Al Dente in Rye, recently had a baby girl.

"She's awesome," said Santorelli. "When I wake up and look at that beautiful little face -- everything is perfect in my life. Father's Day is great because it's fun to get together with family, have a barbecue and enjoy one another."

At Royal Jewels of Rye, John Givelekian works with his son.

"You want to be there for your children and provide whatever they need," Givelekian said. "Love and respect is very important between all family members. I try to be close and talk about everything with them."
