RYE, N.Y. There are now officially zero degrees of separation between Kevin Bacon and the City of Rye after a day of filming his upcoming television show on the streets of the city.
According to the city clerks office, residents will be able to see local exterior shots, a driving scene near Playland Parkway and the interior of Morgans Fish House in an upcoming episode of Bacons first television show, "The Following."
Parking lots one and four in downtown Rye were partially blocked off all day Tuesday to make room for campers and trailers, and Purchase and Elm streets were used for a walking scene, said Sally Wright of the Rye Chamber of Commerce.
Bacon stars as Ryan Hardy, a former FBI agent called in to track down a notorious serial killer who escaped from death row, according to Foxs website. Hardy was responsible for the killers capture nine years prior in Virginia. The show also stars James Purefoy, Jeananne Goosen, Shawn Ashmore, Natalie Zea and newcomer Kyle Catlett. The show is scheduled for a midseason premiere.
