RYE, N.Y. – There are now officially zero degrees of separation between Kevin Bacon and the City of Rye after a day of filming his upcoming television show on the streets of the city.
According to the city clerk’s office, residents will be able to see local exterior shots, a driving scene near Playland Parkway and the interior of Morgan’s Fish House in an upcoming episode of Bacon’s first television show, "The Following."
Parking lots one and four in downtown Rye were partially blocked off all day Tuesday to make room for campers and trailers, and Purchase and Elm streets were used for a walking scene, said Sally Wright of the Rye Chamber of Commerce.
Bacon stars as Ryan Hardy, a former FBI agent called in to track down a notorious serial killer who escaped from death row, according to Fox’s website. Hardy was responsible for the killer’s capture nine years prior in Virginia. The show also stars James Purefoy, Jeananne Goosen, Shawn Ashmore, Natalie Zea and newcomer Kyle Catlett. The show is scheduled for a midseason premiere.

That's an interesting show to watch. I wonder if it's available on Dish network Tucson as well, I am usually interested to see street news and action, it keeps me anchored in reality.
