RYE, N.Y. -- A Warner Brothers movie starring Jason Bateman, Tina Fey, Timothy Olyphant and Jane Fonda will shoot in Rye this Sunday and next Sunday.
The studio will be filming "This is Where I Leave You," an adaptation of Jonathan Tropper's book of the same name. The film tells the story of four siblings who return to their childhood home after the death of their father. It is unknown if any of the stars will be on hand for the filming in Rye. The movie is directed by Shawn Levy, the director of films such as "Night at the Museum" and "The Internship."
Filming this Sunday will take place in the central business district and on Theodore Fremd Avenue, according to Rye police. The production company will be parking vehicles in Car Park 4, on both sides of Purchase Street and on both sides of Theodore Fremd Avenue between Central Avenue and Orchard Avenue.
The following Sunday, filming will take place on Mead Place, and vehicles will be parked on both sides of Mead Place and in Car Park 4. Police are warning residents that there will be some traffic detours during filming, and parking will likely be congested.
