For one: he's revised the menus at both locales (mouthwatering details in a minute). Second, he and his team are actively looking to sponsor fundraisers within the community.
"We've reached out to people but have had limited success so far," he said. Details can be found on the website HERE but Grippo said he'll donate a percentage of all sales generated by the fundraising entity back to the organization.
"The more folks the fundraiser brings in to try our fresh food, the more money we are able to donate," he said. "It's a great event and a wonderful way to partner with the community."
Now, for those "get hungry" details: The traditional MOOYAH Build Your Own Burger experience has been streamlined with "Our Favorites," a pre-selection process that makes ordering more fluid.
The biggest change to the menu, however, is the addition of chicken. Grippo said both locales now offer freshly breaded all-natural crispy chicken, grilled chicken and chicken tenders.
Beef has gotten a menu makeover too; it's now 100 percent all Angus with a potato bun (as opposed to artisanal white).Gluten-free buns are also available.
And, there's a new monthly burger special called the "Taste to Try." The option at the moment: the Sloppy Whoa, a twist on the traditional Sloppy Joe -- think melted American cheese smothered in chili, topped with fried onion strings and a touch of A1 on a fresh-baked potato bun.
The new menus were launched in mid-January with the addition of chicken being a top menu pleaser. Said Grippo: "Many guests in both stores have been asking for chicken for months now so we are very happy to finally provide it to them."
