Cold Water, Warm Hearts In Rye Where Participants Raise Money For Charity

RYE, N.Y. -- A record number of supporters braved the cold waters of Rye's Oakland Beach New Year's Day to spread awareness for MAC Angels Foundation, supporting families with ALS throughout the Tri-State area.

The annual event also raised money for The Challenged Athletes Foundation.

Later in the day, after everyone had dried off and warmed up, plungers were invited to Bar Harbor Grill in Mamaroneck for a performance by The Lacey Keene Band and the Visual Blues Band.
