Camera crews were busy at Mount Vernon City Hall all week, as Giovanni Ribisi and the stars of “Sneaky Pete” filmed scenes from an episode of their second season after the show was renewed earlier this year.
This isn’t the first foray into Westchester for “Sneaky Pete.” Last month, the stars were spotted filming along Cortlandt and Rockland Avenue in Mamaroneck and in White Plains.
On Twitter, Mount Vernon Mayor Richard Thomas praised the show and thanked Amazon and the cast for “making Mount Vernon a destination for the entertainment business.”
Starring Ribisi and Bryan Cranston, “Sneaky Pete” depicts “a con man on the run from a vicious gangster who takes cover from his past by assuming the identity of his prison cellmate,” according to Amazon's description.
