IRVINGTON, N.Y. – Westchester residents gathered in large groups along the Hudson River Friday morning to watch the space shuttle Enterprise journey to its new home in New York City.
Enterprise, mounted atop its 747 carrier aircraft, flew from New York City to just south of the Tappan Zee Bridge before turning around.
