Monday, Feb. 18

Presidents Day Closures: Rye, Rye Brook and Port Chester Schools are closed for Presidents Day. Rye, and Blind Brook schools are also closed all week for winter recess. Port Chester Schools are also closed Friday, except for Port Chester Middle School, which has a half day. The Rye Free Reading Room is also closed, along with Rye City Hall, Rye Brook Village Hall, and Port Chester Village Hall.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

Rye Art Exhibit: 1 to 8 p.m. Photographer Brian Whalen’s exhibit on display through March 1. Whalen’s photos represent landscapes of the Hudson Valley from New York City to the Adirondacks. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

Wiggle and Giggle Time: 9:30, 10:15 and 11 a.m. Children will wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes and pretend to be wild animals in this interactive program. Free. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road, Rye.

Thursday, Feb. 21

Winter Vacation Book Swap: 2 to 4 p.m. Trade your gently used books with other kids during this exchange. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road.
