What To Do In Rye This Weekend

Friday, Oct. 19

Wiggle & Giggle Time: 9:30, 10:15 and 11 a.m. Children will wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes and pretend to be wild animals in this lively interactive program. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road, Rye.

Rye Garnet Pep Rally: 7 p.m. Rally and bonfire on the lowere Brookside field, adjacent to the turf field. Rye High School, 1 Parsons St., Rye.

Don Bosco Community Center “Fusion of Flavors” Fundraiser: 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person. All proceeds benefit the Port Chester-based Don Bosco Community Center and Café Alma, its new culinary arts program. Apawamis Club, 2 Club Road, Rye.

Rye-Harrison Rivalry Football Game: 1:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults and children over 5 years of age, free for children under 5 and senior citizens. Port Chester-Saunders Homecoming Football Game: 1:30 p.m. Ryan Stadium, One Tamarack Road, Port Chester.

Halloween in the Park: 6 to 9 p.m. Haunted Hay Ride at Rye Hills Park, 122 N. Ridge St., Rye Brook. Parking will be at the adjacent Crawford Park. The first 100 children will receive goody bags. Free.

The Pyschedelic Furs at The Capitol Theatre: 7:30 p.m. The 18 and over event opens with The Lemonheads and The Chevin. Tickets are $30 advance, $35 day of show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The Capitol Theatre, 149 Westchester Ave., Port Chester.
