Wiggle & Giggle Time: 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. Children will wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes, and pretend to be wild animals in this lively interactive program at the Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road, Rye.
Rye Free Reading Room Fun Club: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Happy Birthday Bernard Waber featuring stories by the author of "Lyle, Lyle Crocodile" and create a group art project to display in the Childrens Room.

Antiques and Appraisals at The Osborn: 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy wine and cheese while a panel of art and antiques professionals answer questions and share tips and trends for all collectors. 101 Theall Road, Rye.
September Sound Explosion at The Rye Arts Center: 7:30 p.m. The Average White Band featuring Roger Ball will play hot jazz standards, original compositions, high energy funk, and R&B at the Rye Arts Center. Rye Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. In the parking lot behind the Purchase Street stores at 9 Theodore Fremd Ave., Rye.
Seventh Annual Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease: 9 a.m. Starting from Rye High School, 1 Parsons St., Rye. The event raises funds for research on celiac disease, an autoimmune disease Colin Leslie has. In addition to a two or four mile walk, the event includes Gluten free vendor fair with approximately 40 vendors, a gluten free lunch for purchase, a Rye Fire Department fire engine on-site for kids, and speaker Dr. Peter Green, the director of the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University. Admission is $20 for pre-registered adults, $25 for adults onsite, $15 for kids pre-registered, and $20 for kids onsite.
Eighth Annual Run For Crawford Park, 5K Run, One-Mile Fun Run: 8:30 a.m. Crawford Park, 122 North Ridge Street, Port Chester. Goodie bags and t-shirts go to the first 200 entered and there are trophies in all age categories. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. The one-mile fun run starts at 10 a.m. and the 5K starts at 10:30 a.m. Participation in the one-mile run is $20 and the 5K is $25. Resurrection School Book Fair: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Resurrection Church basement hall. The fair features books for pre-schoolers all the way up to adults. There will be a used book and DVD drive during the book fair, which will be donated to St. Vincents Hospital.
Wainwright House Healing Arts and Community Fair: 12 to 6 p.m. Wainwright House, 260 Stuyvesant Ave., Rye. Experience lectures, a Dream Workshop, private healing arts practitioner sessions, group meditation, walk the labyrinth, find a quiet moment in the meditation garden, purchase lunch from Chef Johnsons Food Truck, or stroll the healing arts marketplace for community information and goods from holistic vendors. Admission is $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
