Monday, March 4

Mother Goose Story Time: 10 to 10:20 a.m. and 10:45 to 11:05 a.m. Parents can bring their children to participate in nursery rhymes, songs and finger plays. The sessions are for children ages 6 months to 3½ years old. Community Meeting Room, Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road.

Tuesday, March 5

Rye School Board Meeting: Board members will discuss the 2013-14 budget and other items on the agenda. Rye Middle School, multipurpose room, 3 Parsons St.

Wednesday, March 6

Rye City Council Meeting: 8 p.m. Policies and procedures about dealing with city finances as a result of the Rye Golf Club investigation will be discussed during this council meeting. Rye City Hall, 1051 Boston Post Road.

Wiggle and Giggle Time: 9:30, 10:15 and 11 a.m. Children wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes and pretend to be wild animals in this interactive program. Free. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road.

Thursday, March 7

ipad Workshop: 10 a.m. Gain knowledge about how to use an iPad. Attendees will learn basic setup, how to use email and Internet, and how to download apps, books and music. iPads are required. No reservations are necessary. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Rye Free Reading Room, Raho Technology Center, 1061 Boston Post Road.
