Monday, Sept. 16

Saw Mill River Audubon Monday Bird Walk:  8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Weekly walk at a local birding hotspot will be at Marshlands Conservancy. Meet in the main parking lot. Beginners encouraged. $5/adult suggested donation. Marshlands Conservancy 220 Boston Post Road, Rye. sawmillriveraudubon.org

Tuesday, Sept. 17

Parking and Beach Procedures: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rye Town Park will be offering discounted parking through Sept. 29. On days when the weather is good, parking will be $3 for 2013 season permit-holders, and $5 for non-permit holders. The fees will be charged from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rye Town Park will be open for sunbathing and play in the sand from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well. 95 Dearborn Ave, Rye. ryetownpark.org

Wednesday, Sept. 18

Wiggle and Giggle Time: 9:30 a.m. Children will wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes and pretend to be wild animals in this lively interactive program at the Rye Free Reading Room. 1061 Boston Post Road.
