Friday, Nov. 9

Hot Showers at Carver Center: 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Showers are offered for those without power at Carver Center, 400 Westchester Ave., Port Chester. Bring soap and a towel and check in at the front entrance.

Hot Showers at LA Fitness: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Showers are offered for those without power at LA Fitness, 260 Boston Post Road, Port Chester. Bring a towel, and ask for Andrew.

Warming Center At AJP Community Center: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Residents can charge cell phones and lap tops, watch TV, keep warm and use computers on site to access the Internet. AJP Community Center, 32 Garibaldi Place, Rye Brook.

Wiggle & Giggle Time: 9:30 a.m., 10:15 a.m. and 11 a.m. Children will wiggle to music, giggle to funny rhymes and pretend to be wild animals in this lively interactive program. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road, Rye.

Halloween Trick-Or-Treating in Port Chester: All day. Village Board of Trustees proclaimed Friday “Halloween” in Port Chester. Parents and children should use caution trick-or-treating on Friday, taking care to avoid fallen debris and unlit neighborhoods that may still be without power.

"Moe." At The Capitol Theatre: 8 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The event is for those 18 and older. Tickets are $35. The Capitol Theatre is located at 149 Westchester Ave.

"Susan E. Leham: Printmaker" reception: 1 to 4 p.m. A reception featuring the work of the award-winning late Rye artist Susan E. Lehman, a member of Mamaroneck Artist’s Guild. Rye Free Reading Room, 1061 Boston Post Road, Rye.
