RYE, N. Y. -- Tickets are now on sale for the third annual restaurant crawl, A Taste of Rye, on Sept. 24 that features visits to several local establishments, and benefits My Sisters' Place, a White Plains-based organization trying to end domestic violence and human trafficking.
Hosted by Julia B. Fee/Sotheby's International Realty of Rye, the event goes from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 24. It starts at the realty office, 49 Purchase St., which is right next door to Ruby's, one of the particpating restaurants.
Attendees will get a drink and appetizer from each participating restaurant. Other restaurants include: Aurora, Fogama, Morgan’s Fish House, Rose Mary and Vine, Town Dock, Wine At Five, WUJI and Rye Grill & Bar.
Visitors to the event will also get the chance to meet representatives from My Sister’s Place at Julia B. Fee’s office and at each of the stops along the way. All attendees must stop at the brokerage office to get the purple wristbands for admission to the participating restaurants.
Tickets cost $50 each. Proceeds will benefit My Sisters' Place residential center for those affected by domestic violence and human trafficking.
The fundraiser has raised more than $100,000 to date.
