Man In WNY Hit-Run In Critical Condition, Authorities Say

A New York City man was seriously injured when he was struck by a vehicle that left the scene in West New York Sunday, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.

Police located the unconscious 56-year-old victim around 4:40 p.m. near 66th Street and Boulevard East. He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.  

The initial investigation by the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the West New York Police Department determined that the man was a pedestrian and that he was struck while crossing 66th Street at the intersection of Boulevard East. No arrests have been made.
