RYE, N.Y. -- Warmer than usual temperatures brought big crowds (roughly 5,000 people) to Rye's annual Mistletoe Magic Festival Nov. 30.
New this year: A petting zoo, along with the usual chili cook-off, horse-drawn sleighs, bouncy castle, face-painting, an array of vendors, and, of course, Santa.
"This event is tons of fun for the whole family," said Sally P. Wright, Development Director of the Rye YMCA. "It shows what a wonderful town Rye is – good schools, great downtown – a real close knit community with an amazing amount of work being done by our local non-profits."
