Rye Recreation Hosts Events During Holiday Break

RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Recreation Department is sponsoring free events for families during the holiday vacation.

The Rye Recreation Department is sponsoring free events for families during the holiday vacation, including skating and basketball at Rye Country Day School.

The department is hosting skating and basketball days at Rye Country Day School from 2:15 to 4:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30 and Friday, Jan. 3. All skaters must provide their own skates.

The department is also hosting a Mad Science Show called "Fire And Ice." The show begins at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3 at the Rye Recreation Department. Attendees are invited to stay and make a sundae following the show.
