RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Free Reading Room will host a free screening of the documentary "Gasland" Tuesday night presented by community activist organization Westchester for Change.
The award-winning documentary, directed by Josh Fox, explores the controversial practice of natural gas drilling through hydraulic fracturing, also known as "fracking." The screening, which will take place from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., will be followed by a brief Q & A with Assemblyman George Latimer, who will discuss local concerns about fracking.
