Families can register in the Children's Room and pick up a copy of "The Jungle Book" to keep. Families are asked to keep a journal of their experiences while reading the book together. Once "The Jungle Book" is completed, families are asked to check out a nonfiction book about India, an animal from the story, or any other aspect of book.

All families completing the readings will be invited to an After Hours Celebration Party in the Library in March and one family will be chosen at random to win a prize basket.

The Rye Free Reading Room is at 1061 Boston Post Road.
