Rye Library Hosts Conversation On Alzheimer's And Memory Loss

The session "Forgetfulness, Dementia or More?" runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Rye Free Reading Room at 1061 Boston Post Road in Rye. 

Patricia Gaston, care consultant with the Alzheimer's Association, will lead the discussion. She will also speak on the broad spectrum of memory issues, including when intervention may be required. 

"Have you noticed that your mom has become forgetful or that your dad is repeating stories? Ever run upstairs only to realize you forgot why you were going there? Join us for coffee and an informative presentation," representatives said.
