Rye Forum Will Address Hunger In Westchester

RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye YMCA and Healthier Sound Shore Coalition will present a panel discussion with experts on hunger in Westchester at Rye City Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 7.

The Healthier Sound Shore Coalition meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the public forum will follow from  9:15-10:30 a.m. 

The discussion will have a focus on the extent of the problem and what is being done to address it. 

Panelists include:

  • The Rev. Hilario Albert, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Port Chester.
  • Sherri Falco and Sue Wexler, Bread of Life, Rye.
  • Lucy Harrington, Food Bank for Westchester.
  • Pat Hart and Emily Saunders, Caritas at Don Bosco Community Center  Port Chester.

All are welcome. 

Rye City Hall, Council Chamber, is at 1051 Boston Post Road, Rye (on the Village Green).
