Rye Arts Center Hosts Free Family Day

RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Arts Center will host a free Family Day on Jan. 11, 2014, focusing on how science and technology combine with art and music to spark creativity.

The day includes free demonstrations, workshops, a music concert and refreshments.

Kids will experience 3-D printing, Makey Makey music instrument making, Scratch animated video and music production, Lego engineering and more.

The event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. with a family concert at 3 p.m. The Center is located at 51 Milton Road, Rye.
