RYE, N.Y. -- The Reddy Valentino Orchestra will be the performer this week at the Twilight Tuesday concert in Rye Town Park.
The 16-member band specializes in swing music and features trumpets, trombones and reeds. The Reddy Valentino Orchestra was formed back in the 1980s by Harrison resident Frank Casale, is is currently led by lifelong Rye resident Scott Wenzel. The band performs both large events and private functions, and has played at venues such as Windows on the World, the Glen Island Casino and Rye's Wainwright House.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the south pavilion at Rye Town Park. Admission is free, and parking is $5 after 4 p.m. Seating will be available, but residents are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Picnicking is encouraged. The concert will be held rain or shine, unless their is a thunderstorm.
