Pace Focuses On U.S. Veterans Re-integration Into Higher Education

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pace University will host an event on U.S. veterans reintegrating into higher education featuring keynote speaker D. Wayne Robinson, president and chief executive officer of Student Veterans of America, National, on Monday, Nov. 3, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the Manhattan campus.

Pace University is at 1 Pace Plaza. The event will be held in the Multi-purpose Room. A video conference of the event will be held on the Pleasantville campus in Miller Hall VC Room 16.

The conference will focus on the impact of social support groups on veterans’ transition into higher education and beyond. Transition into the workforce and potential careers for veterans will also be discussed. 

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the future of new veterans from a political, legislation, networking, and advocacy perspective; Q& A and additional topics will be discussed.

Light refreshments will be served.
