The lecture will be held at The Performing Arts Center Recital Hall.

In his talk, Bronner will explore the policies and recent events in Israel and Palestine, and the effects they have had on daily life for the millions of people who call that area of the world home. Since the mid-1980s, Mr. Bronner's work has addressed events in the Middle East, often with a focus on Israel and Palestine.

His most recent tour in Jerusalem (2008-2012) was his third as a correspondent there. In addition to his work at The New York Times, Bronner is a member of the Counsel on Foreign Relations. His talk is given in conjunction with The Compromised Land, Recent Photography and Video from Israel, a compelling exhibition now on view at the Neuberger Museum at Purchase College through Dec. 1. Endowed by Helen and Leonard Yaseen, this biennial lecture series was established in 1974 for scholars and artists to discuss their work and address contemporary ideas and issues.
