Mark Halperin Named Speaker For Westchester Business Council Dinner

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. --Presidential historian and political analyst Mark Halperin will be the featured speaker at The Business Council of Westchester’s 2015 Annual Dinner to be held Oct. 27 at the Hilton Rye Town.

Halperin's best-selling book "Game Change" became an award-winning HBO Film. "Game Change" received wide acclaim before HBO adapted the book for the silver screen in March 2012. With 2.1 million viewers, Halperin's work was one of HBO’s most watched original movies ever. The film won five Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes, including outstanding TV movie or miniseries.

Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2014, Halperin served as editor-at-large and senior political analyst for TIME, covering politics, elections and government for the magazine and TIME.com. Prior to joining TIME, Halperin worked at ABC News for nearly 20 years, where he covered five presidential elections and served as political director from November 1997 to April 2007.
