The memoir describes Devnet’s experience with undiagnosed Asperger's syndrome, while growing up in the 1960s, a time when those in the medical field knew little about the disease.

Asperger’s syndrome is a mental disorder involving difficulty with communication and social skills, according to the Autism Society.

Copies of Devnet’s book will be available for purchase.

This event will be held at the Program Room of the Mamaroneck Public Library, 136 Prospect Ave.
