Lions Club To Host First "Rye's Got Talent"

RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye City Lions Club's inaugural “Rye’s Got Talent” competition will  be from 7–9 p.m., Saturday, at Rye Country Day School’s Dunn Performing Arts Center.

The evening will feature 20 performances, and the master of ceremonies will be professional comedian John O’Donnell. Performers will compete for the chance to win prize money plus bragging rights as "Rye’s Most Talented."

The panel of judges includes Broadway veteran John Cunningham, professional singer Daniele Hager and chamber musician and professor Jan (Johannes) van den Berg.

All proceeds from the event will benefit Guiding Eyes for The Blind and VISIONS Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

Tickets are $15 each, $7 for students and seniors. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance by contacting Susan Olson at 925-8372 or solson@theosborn.org.
