RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Youth Council will host author Lee Woodruff at its annual Spring Benefit Luncheon at Shenorock Shore Club on Thursday, May 12.
Woodruff, a best-selling author and Rye mother, will discuss how to support children during difficult times and enable them to develop resilience and grit.

The couple documented the experience of healing and recovery while holding a family together in the best-selling book "In an Instant."
She also authored "Perfectly Imperfect: A Life in Progress" and The New York Times best-seller and Washington Irving Book Award-winner "Those We Love Most."
The luncheon will take place from noon to 2:30 p.m.
