Irish Arts Center Will Raise Funds At Rye Cocktail Party

RYE, N.Y. -- The Irish Arts Center will host an informational cocktail party on Thursday, Oct. 30 at the Westchester County Club to raise funds and friends for New York City's Irish Arts Center in Hell’s Kitchen in Manhattan.

The party runs from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Westchester Country Club, 99 Biltmore Ave., Rye. 

Co?Chairs William M. Mooney, Jr. of the Westchester County Association, and James J. Houlihan of Houlihan?Parnes Realtors, will host the event. 

The night will feature traditional Irish musicians: Rick McDonald on piano, Mickey Coleman and Pride of My Moy Vane.

The Irish Arts Center (553 West 51st St., New York) is in the middle of a $57 million capital campaign and to date more than $42 million has been raised.

The new building which will feature a 199?seat custom?built theater, dance studio, intimate cafe venue and more is set to open on a site secured by New York City.

Individual tickets are available for $250 and young leader tickets are available for $100 per person, and are tax deductible.

Sponsorship packages are available for $500, $1,000, $2,500 and $5,000, each with a variety benefits and discounts at the Irish Arts Center.  It promises to be an exciting evening and a fun event.  All are invited to come and hear about wonderful new addition to New York City’s cultural landscape.
