On Tuesday, Nov. 24, Nicholas Robillard, 39, of North Attleboro, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to the charges of distribution and possession of child pornography, according to the U.S. ATtorney’s Office, Massachusetts.
Robillard, 42, admitted to distributing and possessing child porn between October 2018 and February 2019. Due to a prior record, Robillard faces the possibility of a longer prison sentence than if this were the first offense.
Robillard had been employed at an auto transport company in Franklin when he was arrested on the two charges, according to the Massachusetts sex offender registry.
His past convictions include 2 counts of rape in 2014; indecent assault and battery on a child under age 14 in 2001; unnatural and lascivious acts with a child under age 16 in 1996; and 4 counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 years old in 1996 as well, according to the registry.
