A 27-year-old man was shot killed outside of a Long Island home.
The drive-by shooting took place around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, on Margaret Drive East in Plainview, said the Nassau County Police.
According to detectives, officers responded to a 911 call reporting the shooting and located the man, who had been shot multiple times.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead by a staff physician.
His identity has not yet been released and the investigation into the incident continues.
Detectives believe a light-colored vehicle may be involved in the incident and request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
