Bethel Democrat Will Move To Different District To Run For Office

BETHEL, Conn. -- Thomas Burke, 26, a Bethel Democrat who lost his bid at his party's nomination for state Representative in the 2nd District, has announced that he will move to the 107th District in order to run for that district's seat, according to WLAD.com.

Burke, who is currently attending Yale and lives on campus, said his family has a home on Wooster Street, which he plans to move into this summer, said WLAD.com.

A Marine veteran, Burke said he was offered the chance to run for the 107th District where he will challenge Republican Stephen Harding, added WLAD.com.
