Walter H. Wendler, 91, Of Rochelle Park

ROCHELLE PARK, N.J. -- Walter H. Wendler, a resident of Rochelle Park and formerly of Cliffside Park, died Thursday, March 31. He was 91.

He was a resident of Rochelle Park for eight years and formerly of Cliffside Park for 45 years.

He was born May 20, 1924 in Frankfurt, Germany and came to the United States in 1952. For more than 40 years, he was a tool and die maker for Duchess Jewelry in Lodi, retiring at the age of 65. He was a member of the Carlstadt Mixed Chorus and the Skat Club.

He is survived by his wife Ingeborg L. Wendler; daughter Linda Valentini and her husband Vincent; grandchildren Leah Marie Latour and her husband Michael and Jessica Lynn Richard and her husband Matt; and great-grandchildren Gianna Rose Latour and Michael Vincent Latour.

Cremation was private. A memorial visitation will be conducted at the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad St., Carlstadt from 1-5 p.m. Saturday, April 23.
