Michael Saul's arrest stems from the theft of a credit card from a car parked in the Bon Aire section of the village in May, according to a post on the police department’s Facebook page.

Possession of stolen property is a felony, said police Chief Clarke Osborn.

The suspect, who was wanted on a warrant, was arrested at his home on Thursday, Jan. 14, arraigned, and released on bail, police said.

However, Saul was re-arrested and charged with criminal mischief after, police said, he had defaced a bench in his holding cell.
