Fathers And Children Learn About Animals At Rye Nature Center

RYE, N.Y. -- The Rye Nature Center will host the "Daddy and Me Animal Show" on Saturday at 9:15 a.m.

Fathers will be able to stop by the nature center with their children to learn more about a wide array of animals. Admission is $10 per family for nature center members and $15 per family for non-members. 

Coming up next week, the Nature Center will host a on keeping slime mold as pets on Tuesday. Students are encouraged to bring a plastic container with a lid. The class is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Click here to register or call (914) 967 - 5150.

The Nature Center wants to remind residents that the deadline to drop off order forms for the Bird Seed Sale is Friday, Oct. 11. Orders will be available for pickup on Saturday, Oct. 26. 

On Saturday, Oct. 12, children with special needs are invited to bring a family member with them to the Nature Center and enjoy animal programs, hikes, and other fun science and sensory adventures. Christine Siller at christinesiller@ryenaturecenter.org.
